Don’t rush

 

I am not in life to win,

I am here to experience it.

I look at the stars to see how small I am.

I look at bigger problems to understand how small mine are.

I am here to smell, the smell of ground and the pine trees in the summer. The smell of rain pouring down my head in the winter.

I let it rain on me, to feel the coolness of the water on my skin.

I am here to listen to music, sounds and stories.

I am here to touch, connect and feel, textures, pain.

I am here to see, the colors

I am here to think everything I can think of, from how a doorknob works till how the universe does.

I am here to feel, to fall in love, to get sad and angry and smile again, to cry to laugh until my belly hurts and feel the back of my head sour.

I am not here to win, I am here to experience so don’t rush me and I won’t rush, I will do it when it feels right.
